Spain's King Felipe VI meets with the country's party leaders in a bid to break an impasse over the formation of a new government following inconclusive elections last month. Acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has headed a caretaker government with reduced powers since a July 23 general election produced a hung parliament, in which a ruling majority cannot easily be formed.
