A video published by the Armenian Ministry of Defence allegedly shows an Azerbaijani military vehicle being destroyed by Armenian forces. Armenia reported deaths and the loss of military positions in border clashes with Azerbaijani troops, a year after the arch-foes fought a war over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. IMAGES
On the side of the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh, a few Armenian soldiers set up a border checkpoint beside the village of Charektar (Kelbajar district), abandoned by Armenian civilians. Here, the road to Kelbajar district is blocked by a first-line checkpoint. An Armenian military convoy is seen crossing the Kalbajar district ahead of its handover to Azerbaijan. Armenia is set to handover the Kalbajar district wedged between Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia on November 25 and the Lachin district by December 1, as part of a Russian-brokered peace deal to end weeks of brutal fighting in the region.
