US Fed officials see slightly better job gains in 2021-22

US central bankers are slightly more optimistic about economic growth prospects over the next two years and see an improving employment picture, says Chair of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell. Speaking at a news conference, Powell says median forecasts show the unemployment rate falling to 5.0 percent next year and 4.2 percent the following year, a slight improvement over the last quarterly estimate.
