Indian farmers demand immediate rollback of three agri-bills

Bangalore, Mar 26 (EFE/EPA).- Members of various organistations and Indian farmers protested Friday against the central government's new agriculture laws in the nationwide strike called by the Samuyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an Umbrella body of farmers unions.The Karnataka State police detained most of the protesters while hundreds of farmers took to the streets demanding the immediate rollback of three agri-bills and a new Electricity Bill 2020 by the central government, stating that these are against the interest of the farmers.
