Falken Motorsports has won both qualifying races for the Nürburgring 24 Hours with the Porsche 911 GT3 R. The four-hour races are considered the most important preparation for the prestigious endurance classic on the storied racetrack.

The Porsche Penske Motorsport works team is fighting for victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona. At the three-quarter race distance mark, the #6 Porsche 963 was running in the lead for a while, before swapping the lead spot with the #7 sister car shortly afterwards. The hybrid prototypes fielded by the customer teams Proton Competition and JDC-Miller MotorSports remain on course for a top result. In the GTD classes, all five Porsche 911 GT3 Rs are still in contention.

The No. 7 Porsche 963 fielded by the Porsche Penske Motorsport works team has won the 24 Hours of Daytona. Works drivers Felipe Nasr from Brazil, Dane Cameron from the USA and Matt Campbell from Australia as well as American IndyCar star Josef Newgarden extended Porsche's record number of victories to 19. The No. 6 sister car finished fourth with works drivers Mathieu Jaminet (France), Nick Tandy (Great Britain), Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium) and Kévin Estre (France). The Porsche 963 campaigned by the formidable customer teams Proton Competition and JDC-Miller MotorSports followed directly behind. In the GTD Pro class, AO Racing's Porsche 911 GT3 R secured second place.
