Snow storm disrupts rail and road traffic in western Germany

Description

With snow drifts, black ice and train cancellations, the onset of dramatic winter weather causes considerable traffic disruptions in many places in the north and center of Germany. Deutsche Bahn discontinued numerous connections in local and long-distance traffic, between Hamburg and Hanover and Hamburg and the State of Northrhine Westphalia, where many parts of the highway have been closed to traffic.
