Brussels (Belgium), Feb 3 (EFE), (Camera: Leo Rodríguez).- Local authorities have reinforced security measures in the emblematic Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels after a Spanish woman who lives in the city experienced an attempted rape. I asked 'do things like that happen every month?' and they said 'yes, they do' and I said 'why isn't there more security? It is a lot."

Security forces on scene after police open fire on woman making 'threats' in Paris

Police are on the scene near the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand train station in Paris after French police shot and wounded a woman who was making threats, a police source told AFP. According to witnesses the woman, who was completely veiled, shouted "Allahu akbar" ("God is Greatest") and "made threats", the source said, adding that "police fired because they feared for their safety".
