Russian judiciary considers Navalny's 30-day arrest 'legal'

Moscow (Russia), Jan 28 (EFE/EPA), (Camera: Yuri Kochetkov).- The Russian judiciary on Thursday rejected the appeal filed by the lawyers of opposition leader Alexei Navalny against his arrest for 30 days after he was sent to pre-trial detention on January 18 following his return to Russia. The Moscow Region Court found the arrest to be legal, so the opposition leader must remain in the Matrosskaya Tishina prison until February 15.FOOTAGE OF THE HEARING.
