Police Search For Snake Thief

AP reports that police in Peabody, Massachusetts are looking for a couple who stole a $300 snake from a city Petco. According to Newser the couple entered the Petco store around 4:30pm Monday. The man asked an employee if he could play with the albino cinnamon ball python. When the employee said that is against store policy, the man offered to buy it, Capt. Dennis Bonaiuto said. The man then grabbed it from the counter and ran away with his girlfriend. They remain at large.
