Samsung Electronics gains 21.48% more in 2020 due to high chip demand

Seoul, Jan 28 (EFE/EPA) .- South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics earned 26.4 trillion won ( $23.7 billion) in 2020, which is 21.48 percent more than in the previous year, due to higher chip demand amid pandemic.Its gross operating profit (EBITDA) grew by 19.45 percent compared to 2019, to reach 36.35 trillion won (33 billion).
