Southwest Airlines reports first annual loss since 1972

Chicago, Jan 28 (EFE/EPA). Southwest, the fourth largest airline in the US, on Thursday posted its first annual loss since 1972 as the Covid-19 pandemic brought airline traffic to a near halt.The company has reported a loss of $3.5 billon for 2020 after being forced to ground planes because of the pandemic.
