South African President Cyril Ramaphosa gets vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine in Khayelitsha township, Cape Town. South Africa has started its vaccination drive after a delayed start caused by concerns about the ability of the Oxford-AstraZeneca formula to shield against a widespread variant of the virus. In tonight's edition: South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa says the country has "passed the peak" of its second wave of Covid-19, allowing for the easing of restrictions ahead of the first vaccinations this month.
