Fresh flowers are placed at the mural of George Floyd in Minneapolis, near the spot where he died while in the custody of the Minneapolis police on May 25, 2020. Jury selection begins in Minneapolis on Monday in the case against Derek Chauvin, 44, who is facing murder and manslaughter charges in connection with Floyd's death. Chauvin was filmed by a bystander with his knee on Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes as the handcuffed man struggled to breathe, fell unconscious and died. IMAGES
