San Salvador, Feb 28 (EFE).- Most of the 1,595 polling stations across El Salvador closed Sunday after elections marked by the delay in opening. The delay in the delivery of the accreditations from the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) to members of the ruling party New Ideas (Nueva Ideas in Spanish) to join the polling stations have delayed the opening of the 1,595 voting centers, in some cases by more than two hours. The virus and the waiting, however, did not intimidate dozens of grandparents who came to vote hand in hand with their children. Some arrived in wheelchairs, while others came with crutches and leaning on canes. (Camera: VLADIMIR CHICAS).SHOT LIST: POLLING STATION CLOSES IN SAN SALVADOR, EL SALVADOR.
