Colombo, May 12 (EFE/EPA).- A group of Sri Lankan nurses on Tuesday celebrated the International Nurses Day at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Colombo. The infectious disease hospital (IDH) is the main hospital in Sri Lanka to treat patients who test positive for coronavirus. International Nurses Day is marked annually to commemorate the birth anniversary of British nurse Florence Nightingale on 12 May 1820, who was the founder of modern nursing.
