Prague, March 18 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Martin Divisek) The Czech Republic, a country of 10.7 million inhabitants, is currently the EU country with the highest infection rate with 1,572 per 100,000 inhabitants. In the last 24 hours, almost 12,000 new cases were detected, 18% less than a week ago, while active infections exceeded 87,700, of which 8,910 were hospitalized, a figure that has remained stable so far this month.
