Russia remembers victims of Chernobyl

Description

Moscow, Apr 26 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Yury Kochetkov) The Mitino cemetery, in Moscow, was the scene of a tribute to those who died in the Chernobyl tragedy of April 26, 1986. The world remembers the 35th anniversary of the nuclear disaster, in which the explosion of reactor 4 at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant spread up to 200 tons of material with radioactivity of 50 million curies, equivalent to 500 atomic bombs like the one dropped in Hiroshima. According to the UN, 50 people died and thousands were evacuated.FOOTAGE OF THE TRIBUTE TO THE VICTIMS OF THE CHERNÓBIL DISASTER AT THE MITINO CEMETERY, IN MOSCOW.
