Ivorian musician praises cooperation between peoples as a virtue of jazz

For me it is a very interesting day because it allows all jazz musicians to come together to share information and celebrate the virtues of jazz, which are cooperation between people and also freedom of expression. These different virtues are highly represented in the jazz and that makes me very happy. 2. I've been in the jazz world since the late 90s. I think it was from 1999 on, when I became very interested in jazz. Since 2002, I started playing a the piano bar and at the Abidjan jazz club. it's how my career started. 3. What led me to embrace jazz is that I was motivated by the spirit of curiosity because you always have to create, you have to tell your story and have the right elements. They are found in jazz standards, so after studying them comes the vocabulary of legends. I really developed this desire to hone my jazz skills. 4.- Jazz has always been positive in my life from the moment I decided to embrace this form of music in my artistic career, and thank God I met all kinds of people, from politicians to scientists and even jazz legends such as Greg Osby, Lonnie Plaxico, Lione Loueke and Kevin Eubanks. I learned a lot from them and it allowed me to evolve.
