A massive and well-planned operation by the Islamic State to free thousands of the terror group’s fighters from a prison in northeastern Syria is over, more than six days after the attack plunged the facility and surrounding neighborhoods into chaos. But today, new revelations have emerged about a situation that may have fallen under the world's radar. FRANCE 24's Terrorism Specialist Wassim Nasr explains how hundreds of children were detained during this siege.

British Muslim political activist Anjem Choudary appeared Monday at London's Central Criminal Court for sentencing, for "inviting support" for the Islamic State and other militant Islamist groups.
