Customers at a large shopping centre in the Russian city of Surgut were left baffled when they saw several cows entering the shopping complex through the parking garage. Althoug h its unclear exactly where the cows came from, four bovines walked across the covered parking garage and into the mall through the automatic glass doors. Astonished onlookers caught the bizarre scene on mobile phone cameras and followed the cows into the mall to see what they would buy. Unfortunately for shop owners, it appeared that the bovines were just browsing.

A Russian security guard tackled an American diplomat to the ground outside of the US Embassy in Moscow and wrestled with him on the ground for at least a minute. Russian security services allege that the diplomat, named Daniel Van Dyken, was suspected of using his diplomatic status within the third secretary of the political department of the US Embassy as a cover and carrying out spy missions for the CIA in Russia.
