French prosecutors raid pizza plant after E.coli outbreak

Description

Searches are being carried out at the Buitoni factory in Caudry in the North of France, where Fraich'Up frozen pizzas are produced, suspected of having caused serious cases of E.coli contamination in children. An investigation into involuntary manslaughter and deceitful practices was opened on April 1 after authorities learned of more than 70 infections, which may have caused the deaths of a one-year-old and an 18-year-old.
