South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa visits a site of looting in the eastern KwaZulu-Natal province following a week of deadly violence which he says had been 'planned'. Shopping malls and warehouses have been ransacked in two provinces, stoking fears of shortages and inflicting a devastating blow to the economy.
