British fish & chips hit by Russia sanctions, energy prices

The price of Britain's traditional takeaway, fish & chips, is set to rise as a result of sanctions on Russian whitefish, as well as sharply rising energy prices. At Captain's fish & chips on Brighton seafront, owner Pam Sandhu says they're seeing shortages of fish already, with orders now only possible to guarantee a day or two in advance.

    A tanker carrying Russian liquefied natural gas, or LNG, finally landed in Boston on Sunday, despite US-imposed sanctions against the company operating the Russian facility.
