Dacia, designed to last!

Description

Known to be both affordable and reliable, Dacia cars are also widely renowned for being built with robust parts. It is not unusual to see Logan and Duster cars with a few hundred thousand miles on the metre! This reputation is not due sheer luck. The longevity of Dacia cars (still) remains a well-kept secret known only to those in the two labs located at the Titu Technical Centre. Situated 45 minutes northwest of Bucharest, Romania, Dacia engineers put the interior and exterior parts of all models through rigorous testing to check their quality and strength. Why? To guarantee customers that their car can stand the tests of time. How? Accelerated aging. Let’s take a dive into the unique world inside the laboratories.

  • New Dacia Duster - Exterior Design Morphing

The exterior styling of Dacia Duster is brand-new and not one body panel is carried over from the previous generation car. New 17-inch wheels with black wing arch trims give the car a more assertive personality with a more distinctive grille extending to the head lights, making the car look wider. The model boasts a new lighting signature, including LED daytime running lights divided into three sections and Dacia’s rear lighting signature – four red stacked squares – has been adapted for All-New Duster. The newly designed bonnet features sculpted crease lines that give the All-New Duster an even more rugged appearance. A larger, mass-coloured, scratch-resistant front skid plate reinforces Duster’s adventurer credentials. A higher belt line adds to the impression of robustness and protection while the windscreen has been brought forward 100mm and is more steeply raked, which makes the cabin appear more spacious.
