Massive fires in Southern California have forced pets of all sizes to take shelter at a local equestrian center. Hansen Dam Equestrian Center provided temporary accommodation for displaced animals that had been evacuated from the path of the La Tuna fire, in Los Angeles, on Sunday. The fire, which has been described as the largest in Los Angeles' history, has reportedly covered around 7,000 acres of land.
Polish Prime Minister Donal Tusk welcomes his Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmygal in Warsaw for bilateral talks over farm imports. Polish farmers have been blocking border crossings with Ukraine since last month to protest at what they say is unfair competition from goods from the war-torn country.
