Pope Francis greets refugees brought to Europe by Christian charities, recognising their difficult journeys.
During the Angelus in Vatican City, Pope Francis appeals again for a truce in war-torn Ukraine over the Orthodox Easter weekend, "to ease the suffering of exhausted people".
Ukraine will try to evacuate trapped civilians through 10 "humanitarian corridors" on Monday, including from towns near the capital Kyiv and in the eastern region of Luhansk, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereschuk said. FRANCE 24's Philip Turle tells us more.
