Optionally available with up to seven seats, the SUV offers generous space at the upper end of the compact SUV segment. Like the Karoq, the Kodiaq can also be ordered with all-wheel drive from the Ambition equipment line up, then with the option of the 2.0 TDI, delivering 110 kW (150 hp). In addition, the 2.0 TSI with 140 kW (190 hp) and the 2.0 TDI with 147 kW (200 hp) are available as standard with 4×4 drive for the Style trim level as well as for the Kodiaq L&K and Kodiaq Sportline. Likewise, the sporty top model Kodiaq RS always distributes the 180 kW (245 hp) from its 2.0 TSI to all four wheels. Kodiaq models equipped with all-wheel drive and a diesel engine have a towing capacity of 2,500 kilograms. As with the Karoq, the Trailer Manoeuvring Assistant is available as an option to support the driver in manoeuvring the trailer. 45,170 Kodiaqs were produced in 2022. In total, over 429,000 Kodiaqs have been produced so far, of which more than 309,00 units have all wheel drive.
As a result of a further refined ŠKODA design language, the KODIAQ presents as even more emotive and self-assured. The upgrade will be available from July 2021. The Active, Ambition and Style trims will come with aluminium-effect detail on the front and rear apron, lending the SUV even more off road styling. The restyled front with an elevated bonnet and the redesigned, more upright ŠKODA grille reinforce the KODIAQ’s bold appearance. The Czech carmaker’s large SUV features LED headlights as standard and, for the first time, can be equipped with full LED Matrix headlights. New alloy wheels measuring up to 20 inches further enhance the car’s dynamic and striking look. Special Aero wheels, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and the new gloss black rear spoiler and finlets on the sides of the rear window all reduce drag. The KODIAQ RS now features a distinct, dynamically designed model-specific front bumper.
More power and reduced weight for the sporty top model ŠKODA KODIAQ RS: The new 2.0 TSI petrol engine has an output of 180 kW (245 PS) and improves the performance of the SUV even further. With bodywork applications in high-gloss black and the new 20-inch Sagitarius light alloy wheels, it is immediately recognizable as a member of the ŠKODA RS family. The sporty SUV now has full LED matrix headlights as standard. The interior of the KODIAQ RS is characterized by the combination of sports seats with black Suedia covers and red contrasting stitching, as well as door panels with black Suedia covers and black contrasting stitching in a diamond-cross design.
