The OCTAVIA RS’s sleek and sporty design and accessories make it unmistakable. Unlike the other OCTAVIA versions, the RS has a reworked front and rear bumper, as well as the RS logo, of course. Many of the body details, such as the radiator grille, front and rear bumper diffusers, external rear-view mirror covers and side window trims have a glossy black paint finish.The RS model’s sporty nature is reflected in its interior as well. Highlights include sports seats with integrated headrests and Alcantara leather upholstery, while a new feature is the multi-function three-spoke steering wheel emblazoned with the RS logo. The pedals feature aluminium décor and parts of the upholstery have decorative red or silver-grey stitching.
A new era begins for the sporty ŠKODA RS family: the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS iV with plug-in hybrid drive can be ordered from ŠKODA dealers in Germany. The prices for the sustainably sporty top model start at 42,267 euros including 16 percent VAT, the OCTAVIA COMBI RS iV is available from 42,949 euros. At the start of the order, customers can order the FIRST EDITION special model for the same price, which with its extended equipment offers a price advantage of 1,375 euros compared to a standard OCTAVIA RS iV.
Škoda Auto is updating the hatchback and estate versions of its iconic Octavia. With more than 7 million units sold, it is by far the brand’s best-selling model. Its fourth modern generation has now been given a freshened look that includes a revised Škoda grille and new second-generation LED Matrix beam headlights. Customers benefit from even more comprehensive standard equipment like a 10-inch Digital Display or dual-zone Climatronic. On top of that, the share of sustainable materials inside the car has increased. Further safety and assistance systems enhance active and passive safety and a new range structure provides additional individualisation options. The fourth generation of the modern Octavia enters its next production phase with a renewed sense of purpose. The new range structure comprises four trim levels – SE Technology, SE L, SportLine and vRS – as well as nine Design Selections for the interior.

With the direct-shift gearbox, the OCTAVIA RS accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The output of the 2.0 TDI in the current model generation is 147 kW (200 hp) combined with a 7-speed DSG as standard. The OCTAVIA RS 2.0 TDI is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive as an option. For the first time, ŠKODA is also offering the model with plug-in hybrid drive. A 1.4 TSI petrol engine and an electric motor generate a system output of 180 kW (245 hp) for the OCTAVIA RS iV, with a 6-speed DSG transmitting the power to the front wheels.
