Veterans of the Sahel: French soldiers wounded in Mali trek up Mont Blanc

Marc, Emilien and Timothée are three French army veterans who were wounded in the Malian town of Gossi while taking part in France's Barkhane anti-jihadist operation. With help from their brothers-in-arms, they took on a challenge: a 170-kilometre, one-week hike around Mont Blanc. The trek, known as the "Tiger Raid", is a way for them to regain confidence and continue their recovery. Our team walked the last 20 killometres with them.
