A wave of missile attacks the likes of which had not been seen in months: Russian missiles rained down on cities across Ukraine this week, including in Lviv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and many others. Kyiv was hit by at least two missiles, while there are reports of strikes in Dnipro, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr and Kropyvnytskyi.
Russian cruise missiles killed 25 civilians including four children in Ukraine. Twenty-three of the victims lived in a tower block in Uman, which was hit by two missiles.
President Vladimir Putin on Thursday called Russia's military a guarantor of national stability, promising to boost arms production nearly a year after the start of the Ukraine offensive.
