Hundreds of people staged a candlelit vigil at the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip on Monday evening to pay their respects to the victims killed and wounded after a gunman opened fire from a hotel window into a crowd in what is being called the deadliest mass shooting in US history. According to the police, 59 people have been killed and a further 527 injured.
