Protests against Israel's proposed judicial reform block Tel Aviv's main airport and disrupt President Netanyahu's official trip to Italy
Tens of thousands of Israeli rally against the government's judicial reform programme across the country, like here in Tel Aviv, where clashes between protesters and police led to at least 10 arrests. Right-wing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to restore unity. Demonstrators fear the proposed reforms are a threat to Israeli democracy.
