Russia's Lavrov offers help for W.African states fighting jihadism

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov vows military assistance to countries in West Africa's Sahel and the Gulf of Guinea in their fight against jihadist armed groups. "The fight against terrorism is of course an issue for the other countries in the region," Lavrov says during a visit to Mali, which Russia is already helping militarily. SOUNDBITE
