Munich Security Conference opens in Munich, Germany

Police, journalists and attendants crowd outside the Bayerischer Hof Hotel, host to the Munich Security Conference (MSC) which gathers officials and heads of states for three days of talks and discussions likely to be dominated by Russia's near-year-long invasion of Ukraine.
