But when Oscar's family is confronted by a rival band of chimpanzees, he is left to fend for himself until a surprising ally steps in and changes his life forever. Directed by Alastair Fothergill ("African Cats" and "Earth") and Mark Linfield ("Earth"), and narrated by Tim Allen (ABC's "Last Man Standing"), "Chimpanzee" swings into theatres on May 3rd 2013. Disneynature is also working with Jane Goodall renowned primatologist, founder of Jane Goodall Institute, the global organisation that empowers people to make a difference for all living things. In the UK Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots groups work in hundreds of schools inspiring young people to take action for people, animals and the environment. They also raise awareness of the need for conservation, and chimpanzees in Africa.
