Description

Škoda Auto is comprehensively updating its Enyaq family for the 2024 model year. For the first time ever, the Czech car maker’s popular battery-electric model is also available with the Laurin & Klement trim line, which boasts lavish standard equipment. The technical upgrades bring even more powerful drivetrains, shorter charging times and an increased range. In addition, the new vehicle software features a new, more intuitive user interface. In the 2024 model year, the new, more efficient and more powerful 85 and 85x model variants replace the previous 80 and 80x versions. Like the sporty RS models, they feature a new, more potent drivetrain with an advanced permanent synchronous motor on the rear axle, capable of a top speed of 180 km/h. For the Enyaq 85, output increases by 60 kW to 210 kW* compared to the previous Enyaq 80. The all-wheel drive Enyaq 85x also delivers 210 kW*, making it 15 kW more powerful than its predecessor. The Enyaq RS now comes with an output of 250 kW*, an increase of 30 kW. An optimised battery with even more advanced thermal management increases the range to over 560 kilometres for the Enyaq 85 SUV and more than 570 kilometres for the Coupé. The entry‑level Enyaq 60 has remained technically unchanged. The lettering on the tailgate of the 2024 Enyaq models as well as all logos are in conformity with the new Škoda CI, and the addition “iV” has been dropped from the model name.

  • The new ŠKODA ENYAQ COUPE RS iV in Mamba Green Driving Video

Milton Keynes, 06 December: ŠKODA has confirmed final UK specifications and pricing for the SUV version of its ENYAQ iV vRS – the second all-electric model to wear the brand’s iconic vRS badge. Available to order from 17 January 2023, the ENYAQ iV vRS follows in the wheel tracks of the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS launched earlier this year, and offers increased practicality alongside sporty performance and striking design.Priced from £52,670 OTR, the new ENYAQ iV vRS is fitted with an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack and has a WLTP driving range of 321 miles. Like the COUPÉ version, the SUV variant has a power output of 299PS and is equipped with twin motors – one on each axle. Combined, the motors deliver 460Nm of torque to give instant acceleration and a powerful mid-range response. As befits the sporting flagship of the ENYAQ iV range, the new vRS features a bespoke chassis set up designed to deliver an even more responsive driving experience. The standard sports suspension lowers the body by 15 millimetres at the front axle and 10 millimetres at the rear axle. This, combined with progressive steering as standard, gives the ENYAQ iV vRS the kind of dynamic handling that vRS drivers have come to expect from ŠKODA.Drive Mode Select offers the predefined profiles Eco, Normal and Sport, while a custom slider allows the driver to adjust the settings to their own preferences. Comfort driving mode is only available when optional Dynamic Chassis Control is specified. The ENYAQ iV vRS also offers the additional driving profile Traction. Designed for driving on unpaved roads or slippery surfaces, Traction Mode offers constant all-wheel drive at speeds of up to 12 mph.

  • SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV Driving Video

The new ŠKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV makes a statement with its dynamic looks and sporty, elegant lines. It complements the successfully launched ŠKODA ENYAQ iV, adding an even more emotive variant to the range. The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV also marks the debut of the brand’s first all-electric member of the sporty RS family. While the roofline gently slopes towards the rear from the B-pillar, the new coupé offers plenty of space in the rear and a boot capacity of 570 l. Just like in the ENYAQ iV, the classic trim levels for the interior have been replaced with the Design Selections. There is a choice of two battery sizes, rear- or all-wheel drive, and four power variants with outputs ranging from 132 kW to 220 kW (RS variant). The outstanding drag coefficient (cd) of 0.234 is even better than that of the ENYAQ iV and, depending on the specification, enables a range of more than 540 km in the WLTP cycle.

Following the successful launch of the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV, ŠKODA AUTO is expanding the range of its first all-electric SUV with a second, even more emotionally designed body variant: the four-door ŠKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV features an elegantly sloping rear. At Cd 0.247, the drag coefficient is even lower than that of the already very good ENYAQ iV. The ENYAQ COUPÉ iV is therefore even more efficient and, with the larger battery, offers a maximum range of more than 535 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. There is a choice of two battery sizes and three power levels with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. In the interior, the design selections familiar from the ENYAQ iV replace the classic equipment lines. As is typical for ŠKODA, the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV also has a generous amount of space in the interior, with a trunk volume of 570 liters.
