NATO is aiming to raise the cost for Russian President Vladimir Putin over his invasion of Ukraine by bolstering weapons supplies to Kyiv and strengthening the alliance's eastern flank. IMAGES
Ukrainian train attendant Tetyana Kogut has accompanied Western leaders visiting her country since the start of the Russian invasion. She lives in a Ukrainian mountain village, but Tetyana Kogut, 36, has rubbed shoulders with powerful world leaders. Since Russia's invasion of her country she has taken on an unlikely role in her job as a "providnytsa" -- a sleeping car attendant -- welcoming countless VIPs travelling by rail to show their support for Kyiv.
Kosovo and Serbia's leaders visit Brussels for talks with their European counterparts on calming tensions, with Aleksandar Vucic, president of Serbia, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti arriving for a meeting with European Council President Charles Michel, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The talks come just days after an European Union envoy, as well as diplomats from the United States, France, Germany and Italy visited both Belgrade and Pristina, for top-level talks over the issue.
