Mother leads rally in memory of French teen killed by police

Description

Thousands of people took to the streets of Nanterre, in the western suburbs of Paris, on Thursday to pay tribute to a 17-year-old French teenager killed by the police during a traffic stop, as anger showed no sign of abating. The victim's mother, perched on a van and wearing a "Justice for Nahel" T-shirt, opened the demonstration, followed by hundreds of participants grouped behind a banner bearing the same slogan.
