Škoda is adding a third model to its European SUV portfolio: the Škoda Kamiq. As with the successful Škoda Kodiaq and Karoq, the name Kamiq also originates from the language of the Inuit people who live in northern Canada and Greenland: it means something that fits perfectly. Sitting in the growing city SUV segment, the Škoda Kamiq perfectly combines the advantages of a sport utility vehicle - such as higher ground clearance and a comfortable seating position - with the agility of a compact car. The city SUV is based on the modular transverse matrix (MQB) and, with a length of 4,241 mm, offers the Škoda-typical generous amount of space. Modern assistance systems, environmentally friendly and efficient drive systems, the latest infotainment systems and state-of-the-art connectivity solutions ensure the Škoda Kamiq perfectly fulfils the requirements of modern individual mobility - all whilst further consolidating the emotiveness of the Škoda brand.
The Czech car manufacturer presents the latest version of its compact city SUV in a video. The new KAMIQ SCOUTLINE features, among other things, matt black wheel arch liners, striking silver bodywork elements, large 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels and full-LED rear lights. The ŠKODA KAMIQ SCOUTLINE will be launched in the first markets in July 2020.
Škoda Auto presents the second generation of the Kodiaq, taking sustainability, spaciousness and safety to a new level. The Czech car manufacturer’s SUV flagship has seen its dimensions increased once again and now features the first elements of the Modern Solid design language. The all-new Kodiaq comes with state-of-the-art infotainment systems, including an optional 13-inch screen and a head‑up display. Innovative Škoda Smart Dials with haptic controls and a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit come as standard. The voice control system will from mid-2024 onwards become even more advanced with the integration of the AI-based chatbot ChatGPT. Škoda’s large SUV also adopts a new interior concept based on Design Selections. The five powertrains offer outputs from 110 kW (150 hp) to 150 kW (204 hp) and are always mated to a DSG automatic transmission. The powertrain line-up now also includes a plug in hybrid version with an electric range of more than 100 kilometres and an entry-level mild-hybrid powertrain. The two top engines are combined with all-wheel drive as standard. Also making their debuts are the latest generations of the LED Matrix beam headlights with a significantly higher light output and the Dynamic Chassis Control system (DCC Plus).

Its fourth modern generation has now been given a freshened look that includes a revised Škoda grille and new second-generation LED Matrix beam headlights. Customers benefit from even more comprehensive standard equipment like a 10-inch Digital Display or dual-zone Climatronic. On top of that, the share of sustainable materials inside the car has increased. Further safety and assistance systems enhance active and passive safety and a new range structure provides additional individualisation options. The fourth generation of the modern Octavia enters its next production phase with a renewed sense of purpose. The new range structure comprises four trim levels – SE Technology, SE L, SportLine and vRS – as well as nine Design Selections for the interior.
