Development of the first model based on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) is on the home stretch. During test drives, selected media representatives are able to get behind the wheel of an Audi Q6 e-tron prototype personally and share their impressions with AUDI AG’s Technical Development team. To top off the event, the new lighting technologies in the Audi Q6 e-tron will also be unveiled.The Audi Q6 e-tron marks the beginning of the largest model initiative in Audi’s history. It is also the first model on the newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This technology platform, which is jointly developed by Audi and Porsche, is designed exclusively for electric vehicles. It is scalable to accommodate a wide range of models in the mid-size and luxury segments. The battery size and wheelbase of PPE vehicles are also scalable. This enables both SUV and CUV models with high floors possible, as well as flat-floor models such as the Sportback or Avant, which are part of the core segment of Audi’s range.Given all these firsts, Audi is preparing the introduction of the model with all due care. As part of Audi’s communication campaign ahead of the model’s launch, the first Audi Q6 e-tron Experience event, a prototype drive, is now taking place. In this way, the brand with the four rings is revealing, at this very early stage, a glimpse into various areas of the vehicle’s technology and the work of the developer team. As a special feature of the event, which will take place over the next two weeks, media representatives will be invited to take a seat behind the wheel of the Audi Q6 e-tron prototype themselves and get a first impression of the way it drives. Audi experts will accompany them in the passenger seat to provide support with their expertise.
The Audi SQ6 e-tron shows off its electric power in a sporty and elegant way. Silver-colored add-on parts set accents at the front and rear - an exclusive feature for the S models, as do the exterior mirror housings in an aluminum look. The horizontal blade at the rear also has an aluminum look, as do the elements in the side skirts and the Singleframe. The SQ6 e-tron comes with black 18-inch brake calipers with a diamond S logo and 20-inch wheels in a five-twin-spoke design in matt palladium as standard.Speaking of the wheel range, the Audi Q6 e-tron starts with 18-inch ten-spoke wheels as standard and the 19-inch ""5-double-spoke dynamic"" wheel in graphite gray in the S Line. Wheels up to 21 inches are available as an option. In addition to the standard wheels of the respective Q6 e-tron models, there is a total of seven other different designs - from sporty to elegant - to choose from; four of these come from Audi Sport. The SQ6 e-tron starts with 20-inch wheels.

Electric mobility is becoming dynamic and fascinating, as the Audi e-tron GT proves. The four-door coupé, which will be introduced in the market as an RS model at the same time, reinterprets the classic idea of the gran turismo: Its design is highly emotional, the technology revolutionary. Two powerful electric motors provide confident electric all-wheel drive and stunning road performance.
Sportiness and sustainability do not contradict each other; in combination, they characterize the understanding of luxury in the course of electric mobility at Audi. The e-tron GT proves this with its leather-free design package. The sport seats plus with 14-way adjustment are upholstered either with a combination of artificial leather and the Kaskade material or with a mixture of artificial leather and the microfiber material Dinamica. Recycled materials are used in both cases, for example polyester fibers that were made from old plastic bottles, or textiles, or residual fibers from selvages. There are 119 recycled plastic bottles in each Kaskade upholstery set. The Dinamica material is similar to Alcantara, while the Kaskade material, whose seam design is based on the look of the Singleframe, is reminiscent of natural fibers such as wool.The upholstery of the sport seats pro is made of a combination of two types of leather. The RS design package comprises microfiber material on the hood of the instrument panel carrier, the steering wheel, and the center console trim, with red or gray stitching adding highlights. The floor carpet and floor mats are made from Econyl in both models. This material consists of 100-percent recycled nylon fibers from production waste, fabric and carpet remnants, or old fishing nets.
