Porsche 911 S/T with Heritage Design Package Driving Video

Description

To mark the special anniversary of the iconic 911 sports car, the engineers in Weissach have designed a highly purist sports car dedicated to sheer driving enjoyment: the 911 S/T. The exclusive anniversary model unites the strengths of the 911 GT3 with Touring Package and the 911 GT3 RS and delivers a unique combination of agility and driving dynamics. It combines the naturally aspirated, 386 kW (525 PS, 911 GT3 RS: Fuel consumption* combined (WLTP) 13.4 l/100 km, CO₂ emissions* combined (WLTP) 305 g/km) 4.0-litre boxer engine from the 911 GT3 RS with a short-ratio manual transmission. This is complemented by a resolutely lightweight construction and a running-gear setup optimised for agility and drivability. The 911 S/T weighs just 1,380 kilograms (DIN kerb weight, incl. all fluids), making it the lightest model of the 992 generation. The optional Heritage Design Package draws inspiration from the racing version of the 911 S from the late 1960s and early 1970s.The design of the anniversary model incorporated GT and motorsport expertise from Porsche. This is reflected in its particularly nimble and agile handling, which is designed for maximum driving enjoyment on winding country roads. The reduction of rotating mass both in the engine as well as the wheels and brakes ensures particularly dynamic responsiveness. The S/T responds to driver commands instantaneously. Every steering movement, every ounce of pressure on the accelerator or brake is implemented immediately and with pinpoint precision. Unlike the 911 GT3 RS, the focus of the development of the 911 S/T has been not on track use, but rather for journeys on public roads.

  • The new Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package in Blue Driving Video

This purist and powerful 375 kW 911 GT3 with a weight of just 1,418 kilograms is delivered with a six-speed GT sports gearbox as standard. For the first time, the Touring package can also be combined with the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission at no extra cost. The exterior’s most conspicuous difference is the omission of the fixed rear wing of the 911 GT3. The necessary downforce at high speeds and even more understatement are guaranteed by an automatically extending rear spoiler. Silver-coloured trim strips made of high-gloss anodised aluminium on the side windows are another distinguishing feature that underline the newcomer’s discreet appearance. The front end is painted completely in the exterior colour. The interior, with extended leather items in Black, is particularly elegant and is available exclusively for the GT3 with Touring package. The front of the dashboard and the upper side sections of the door trim panels have special surface embossing.

  • Porsche 911 Speedster GT Heritage Design-Package Interior Design

Already a cool car on the outside, the 911 Speedster becomes downright awesome when fitted with the Heritage Design Package. If you’re a fan of vintage Porsches and classic race cars, then you’ll definitely want this bundle for your 911 Speedster. The only downside is that it’s restricted to one exterior color: GT Silver Metallic. That’s mostly because silver has been Porsche traditional motorsport color for many decades. As a tribute to the golden years of motorsport, Porsche painted the front bumper and the upper front fenders in white. This is yet another feature inspired by race car from the 1960s, including the iconic Porsche 917. The white accents continue onto the sides with "Porsche" lettering and stripes above the side skirts and around back with a white license plate recess in the bumper. The Heritage Design Package also adds white "gumball" graphics on the front lid and doors, which can be fitted with racing numbers via Porsche Tequipment. The "gumballs" can be removed at no extra cost if you want a cleaner exterior.
