    A new record breaking cable car gondola opened at Valley Station in Bavaria's Grainau on Thursday and started taking take brave visitors to the peak of the Zugspitze - the highest point in Germany. The cable car breaks several world records, including the world's tallest steel support standing at 417 feet, the longest distance from the only support to the mountain station at 10,540 feet, and the largest height difference between the valley station and the mountain station at 6381 feet.

  • Berlin Team Breaks World Record for the Biggest Ever Doner Kebab

    A group of Berlin chefs decided that the record for the world's biggest doner belongs in Berlin and made an official attempt for the world's biggest kebab at the Mall of Berlin in Potsdamer Platz last weekend.   • Monster Honduran Tortilla (Baleada) Flattens World Record

    A total of 30 chefs from the Central American Academy of Gastronomy teamed up to make an attempt for a world record for the largest baleada ever made in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa on Saturday. Some 310 pounds of wheat flour were used and around 1,500 eggs were also cracked open to make the tortilla while 350 pounds of cheese, butter and beans went into the toppings for the popular Honduran traditional dish.
