Description

Nissan’s adventure-ready family SUV, the fifth-generation Pathfinder, has returned to its go-anywhere roots, introducing a bold, fresh design, major engineering upgrades and a host of new safety and convenience features. The fifth-generation Pathfinder is all-new, with every inch of the vehicle carefully designed to convey a sense of strength and capability, including its strong front face, wide stance, flared arches and a shorter front overhang (versus the previous design). While the Pathfinder’s overall length has been reduced, its stance has been widened and its height increased slightly to provide more interior headroom, legroom and hip room. The clean new design has also slimmed the pillars and delivered a more muscular appearance with flared wheel arches, an integrated rear spoiler, door-mounted side mirrors and a shark-fin aerial. On the side, strong U-shaped highlights fuse the powerful fender blisters together, providing a tough, muscled look. In the rear, the wide-aspect LED taillights are slimmer than the previous design.

  • 2022 Nissan Pathfinder in Red Driving Video

The 2022 Pathfinder is all-new from the ground-up. Every inch of the vehicle was carefully designed to convey a sense of strength and capability with a strong front face, wide stance, blister fenders and a shorter front overhang (versus the previous design). The larger design of the new face of Pathfinder conveys size and strength which, along with larger tires, gives it an authentic, rugged SUV look. Distinctive Nissan signature features are integrated into the new Pathfinder design, such as the V-motion grille with a three-slot grille incorporated as an homage to the original Pathfinder, C-shaped headlights and floating roofline. Standard LED headlights include slim upper Daytime Running Lights, and the C-pillar has a structural SUV look that allows use of two-tone paint – a first for Pathfinder. On the side, strong ""U-shaped"" highlights fuse the powerful fender blisters together, providing a tough, muscled look. In the rear, the wide-aspect LED taillights are slimmer than the previous design. The ""boxed out"" liftgate returns to the boldness of the first Pathfinder, including the oversized, satin chrome PATHFINDER name. Even the new aluminum-alloy wheel designs have a machined, tool-like seriousness to them.

  • All-new Nissan Qashqai in Red Driving Video

Nissan Australia has again raised the small SUV bar with a completely new Qashqai that is even roomier than before, and which features a new turbo-petrol engine with more power and torque, improved fuel economy and lower emissions.Penned at the studios of Nissan Design Europe in London and engineered at the Nissan Technical Centre in Bedfordshire, UK, the new Qashqai is also the first vehicle globally to use Nissan’s innovative CMF-C architecture, which boasts a 48 percent increase in structural rigidity. In terms of construction, the body-in-white makes use of more lightweight materials, as well as advanced stamping and welding techniques, not just to increase strength, but to also reduce weight. For the first time, the rear hatchback door on the Qashqai is now made of a composite material, which saves a further 2.6kg.Central to the engineering vision was to retain the current Qashqai’s proportions, which are “just right” and key to its success, meaning it comfortably navigates urban roads and fits comfortably in parking spaces, while also giving excellent interior space. The front and rear doors, front fenders and bonnet are all now made of aluminium, which offers a weight-saving, and the total net advantage for customers, thanks to all the advanced manufacturing techniques, is that the overall body-in-white is lighter by 60kg and stiffer by 41 percent compared to the outgoing model.
