North Korean leader Kim Jong Un crosses the border into Russia for a first summit with Vladimir Putin, as Pyongyang seeks support in its nuclear deadlock with the United States. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal describes the start of Ukraine's EU accession talks as "a historic day", speaking as membership negotiations are launched.
