‘Close to home’: French rescue teams join search for Morocco quake survivors

Description

Despite political tensions meaning that Morocco has so far not answered France’s offer of aid following a devastating earthquake, a number of French firefighters have nevertheless travelled to the country to join the search for survivors. “We are humans at the service of humans. We are here to save lives”, said one French volunteer.
