UK to soften net zero policies in new 'pragmatic' approach: PM Sunak

During a speech delivered to the press in London's Downing Street briefing room, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces that the UK will soften policies aimed at achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and instead pursue a "pragmatic" approach to the hitting the target. "We can adopt a more pragmatic, proportionate and realistic approach to meeting net zero that eases the burdens on working people", he states. IMAGES
