Euronews correspondent Sasha Vakulina reports on the Israel-Hamas war as the IDF says it has ‘completed the encirclement’ of Jabalia in northern Gaza.
Israel's military released security camera footage Sunday it said showed hostages being brought into Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City on October 7 after being kidnapped during Hamas's attacks on southern Israel. Israeli forces raided the medical facility last week while Hamas and medical staff rejected accusations that a command centre lies beneath the building complex.
Our colleague Palestinian journalist Rami Abou Jammous has provided us with footage filmed from his mobile phone of his escape from Gaza city, where he lives, towards Rafa. His suburb, located near the Al Shifa hospital, was targeted by an intense strike during Friday and Saturday morning. He escapes with his four year old son Walid in his arms. Viewer discretion is advised, as some images are shocking.

Images show the arrival of a convoy of five trucks and two ICRC vehicles carrying lifesaving medical supplies to health facilities. One of the vehicles was hit by fire. Two trucks were damaged, and a driver was lightly wounded. After the incident the convoy altered its route and reached Al Shifa hospital where it delivered the medical supplies, according to an ICRC News release. IMAGES
Following the Hamas militant group's 7 October attacks and Israel's subsequent ground offensive in Gaza, there have been apparent reprisals against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
