SOUND BITES: DANIEL PORTUGAL, TREASURER AND ADVISOR TO THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF THE BALLISTICS INDUSTRY.SOUND BITES: DANIEL PORTUGAL, TREASURER AND ADVISOR TO THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF THE BALLISTICS INDUSTRY.1. There are many babblers out there. There are many partial shields that all they do is put users' lives at risk.2. The most recent sector was the freight transport sector. It increased a lot. It was a sector that was not armored and that today is one of the main players. It has a very important growth. Another sector is ... I can tell you the architectural sector. An entire booth can be shielded in an access from a condominium or a funeral home. Why? Because they handle cash and the risk is latent and they have to shield their safes. You can shield gas stations, grocery stores, any place that has a point of risk can be shielded.3. It is lighter and more ergonomic. Before putting on a plaque or an armored vest meant not being able to move, you walked very rigid and now the armor made for the vest is much more ergonomic and it is much more comfortable to use.
