Bangkok, Jun 10 (EFE/EPA).- The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration on Thursday launched a cleaning and disinfecting operation at a local market in Bang Rak district after a surge in Covid-19 cases. The market, which is popular among office workers and local residents, has been closed for three days after at least 13 shop owners were tested positive for COVID-19. Thousands of COVID-19 infections continue to be reported daily in Thailand, with Bangkok accounting for the highest number of infections in the country.
