Guangzhou, Jun 2 (EFE).- Health authorities in China have launched new preventive measures in the southeastern Chinese province of Guangzhou, which has seen a resurgence of coronavirus cases in recent days, state-run newspaper China Daily reported Wednesday. The southern province's capital with the same name has confirmed 41 local infections since Sunday, in addition to several asymptomatic cases, which has led the local government to expand its testing capacity with the setting up of a new laboratory. Bangkok, Apr 6 (EFE/EPA).- The authorities of Thailand's capital city have ordered from Tuesday the closure of all bars and entertainment venues in three central districts for two weeks amid an outbreak of Covid-19 cases linked to a series of establishments.Bangkok saw an increase in cases over the weekend after at least 45 customers who had frequented several bars in the popular nightlife areas of Ekkamai and Thong Lor were found to be infected with the virus.
