The ŠKODA KUSHAQ combines distinctive looks and the brand’s signature spaciousness with midsize dimensions.The name of the ŠKODA KUSHAQ follows the nomenclature established for the successful ŠKODA SUV family, starting with a K and ending with a Q. It is derived from the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit, where the word “kushak” denotes a king or emperor. The KUSHAQ is the first model to be launched as part of the INDIA 2.0 product campaign, which will comprise a total of four vehicles from ŠKODA and Volkswagen. These will be produced locally in India and are based on the MQB-A0-IN version of the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Transverse Toolkit, which has been specifically adapted by ŠKODA AUTO for the Indian market.
The second production model after the KUSHAQ as part of the INDIA 2.0 project for which ŠKODA is responsible on the Indian subcontinent is named SLAVIA. The new sedan in the A0 segment is reminiscent of the beginnings of ŠKODA AUTO. From 1896 - one year after the company was founded - Václav Laurin and Václav Klement successfully sold their first jointly developed bicycles under the name SLAVIA. The new ŠKODA SLAVIA is now set to mark a new era, this time on the Indian market. There, the notchback model presented later this year will complement the OCTAVIA and SUPERB sedans, which are highly regarded in India.

The all-new Kodiaq comes with state-of-the-art infotainment systems, including an optional 13-inch screen and a head‑up display. Innovative Škoda Smart Dials with haptic controls and a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit come as standard. The voice control system will from mid-2024 onwards become even more advanced with the integration of the AI-based chatbot ChatGPT. Škoda’s large SUV also adopts a new interior concept based on Design Selections. The five powertrains offer outputs from 110 kW (150 hp) to 150 kW (204 hp) and are always mated to a DSG automatic transmission. The powertrain line-up now also includes a plug in hybrid version with an electric range of more than 100 kilometres and an entry-level mild-hybrid powertrain. The two top engines are combined with all-wheel drive as standard. Also making their debuts are the latest generations of the LED Matrix beam headlights with a significantly higher light output and the Dynamic Chassis Control system (DCC Plus).

Škoda Auto is updating the hatchback and estate versions of its iconic Octavia. With more than 7 million units sold, it is by far the brand’s best-selling model. Its fourth modern generation has now been given a freshened look that includes a revised Škoda grille and new second-generation LED Matrix beam headlights. Customers benefit from even more comprehensive standard equipment like a 10-inch Digital Display or dual-zone Climatronic. On top of that, the share of sustainable materials inside the car has increased. Further safety and assistance systems enhance active and passive safety and a new range structure provides additional individualisation options. The fourth generation of the modern Octavia enters its next production phase with a renewed sense of purpose. The new range structure comprises four trim levels – SE Technology, SE L, SportLine and vRS – as well as nine Design Selections for the interior.
